In the morning, what about having fresh made cakes and bread for breakfast? Luckily, there is small baker’s shop opposite to my house. It is very small, but they make very good things to eat. For example the marvelous bread with prawns inside... amazing!! Let's discover the baker's shop

Well, let's move to lunch time. If you are in Fukuoka you have to try the most typical meal there: "ramen". It is some kind of soup made of pig bones, with some noodles and meat. The soup is prepared during two or three days, that means Japanese can only enjoy this meal in ramen restaurants. For Spaniards, I have to say that ramen is close to "la sopa de cocido madrileño". Here you find a very famous ramen restaurant in the center of the city. It is now lunch time (12:00-13:00) so everyone is waiting for a place
But we followed the Spanish lunch time (14:30) and found a place without problems :-)

As almost everything in Japan, you have to follow some rules to eat ramen (which of course I didn't follow):
1. If you are wearing glasses, take them off.
2. Take the spoon with your left hand.
3. Take the chopsticks with your right hand.
4. Switch between noodles and soup while eating.
5. Make lot of noise when sucking in the noodles (only for masculine gender).
6. Eat very fast.
I am not joking. This is the right way of eating ramen.
Well, after lunch we can see some show, why not flamenco (again...). Let's move to a rehearsal of a flamenco show from the flamenco school where Kyoko practices. Here a video of the girls at level 2

Por la mañana, ¿qué me decís de pan y unos bollos para desayunar? Por suerte hay una pequeña panadería enfrente de donde vivo. Es un poco pequeña pero hacen unas cosas buenísimas. Por ejemplo, el bollo de pan relleno de crema con gambas...¡increíble! Veamos la panadería

Bien, ahora a la comida. En Fukuoka hay que probar el plato típico de allí: "ramen". Es una especie de caldo hecho con huesos de cerdo, fideos y carne. Se necesitan de dos a tres días para preparar este caldo, así es que normalmente sólo puede comerse en restaurantes de ramen. Para los españoles, decir que el ramen tiene un aire a la sopa de cocido madrileño.
Nos encontramos en uno de los restaurantes de ramen más famosos en el centro de Fukuoka. Es la hora de comer (12:00-13:00) y la gente está haciendo cola para entrar. Está a tope.
Pero nosotros hemos seguido el horario español, comer a las 14:30, y no hemos tenido ningún problema para encontrar un sitio :-)

Como casi todo en Japón, hay que seguir unas reglas para comer ramen. Yo me las salto, claro:
1. Si llevas gafas quítatelas.
2. Coge la cuchara con la mano izquierda.
3. Coge los palillos con la derecha.
4. Intercambia entre sopa y pasta mientras comes.
5. Haz mucho ruido sorbiendo los fideos (solo para género masculino).
6. Come muy rápido.
Esto no es coña. Así es como hay que comer ramen.
Bueno, después de la comida vamos a por un poco de espectáculo. ¿Porqué no flamenco? (de nuevo...). Vamos a ver un ensayo de las alumnas de flamenco de la escuela donde va Kyoko. Son las chicas del nivel 2
Después del baile, nos vamos a un restaurante a cenar y beber un poco. ¡Kanpai!
AVISO: Estas chicas no paraban de preguntarme por mis amigos españoles. Incluso una quería conocer a mi hermano. Chicos, ahí queda eso.... ;-)
