Okinawa y el doctor Pez/ Okinawa and Dr. Fish

El jueves fuí a Okinawa a pasar unos días con Kyoko. Okinawa es una isla típica para los turistas japoneses. Okinawa pertenecía a EEUU hasta 1972, pero todavía hay una base militar americana con muchos soldados.

En el aeropuerto de Okinawa me encontre esto

On Thursday I went with Kyoko to Okinawa to spend some holidays. Okinawa is a typical tourist island in Japan. Okinawa was under US government until 1972, but there is still an American military base and lot of soldiers.

Lo mejor del hotel era el spa que habia enfrente y en el que te podía tratar el mismisimo ¡Doctor Pez!. El Doctor Pez es un tratamiento relajante para los pies en los que un grupo de peces te muerden los pies. Pero son muy pequeños y no hacen daño. Aquí están nuestros amigos

There was a spa in front of the hotel with Dr. Fish! Dr. Fish is a treatment for the feet in which some fishes bite your feet. But they are very small and it doesn't hurt. Here they are

Hola a todos. ¡Ya estoy en Japón!

Ahora mismo estoy en el aeropuerto de Osaka aprovechando su rapida (y totalmente gratis) conexión a internet para escribir este post.

Comida. Esto me gusta en Japón. Vayas donde vayas podrás encontrar un "Dining Court" con comida, generalmente japonesa.

Los restaurantes en Japón venden por los ojos y para ello ponen réplicas de plástico de los platos que ofrecen. Aqui unos ejemplos

Food. This is what I like in Japan. You will find dining courts everywhere with Japanese food. Japanese restaurants sell food "visually". They show plastic copies of their dishes to the "potential customers". Here some examples




Hay que reconocer que las réplicas son muy buenas. Y os puedo asegurar que el plato que te traen es exactamente igual (no como en el McDonald's).

Tambien es muy común comprar los tickets de comida en una máquina y luego pasárselos al camarero. Como en esta máquina de aquí

I have to recognize that the copies are quite good. And I assure you that you will get the same food you saw (not like McDonald´s).

It is also common to buy the food ticket in a machine and give it to the waiter. Like in this machine
