Hoy vamos a conocer a la gente con la que trabajo en la Universidad de Kyushu. En la primera foto podemos ver los a dos catedráticos (Professors) del laboratorio



A mi derecha el profesor Kurazume (con un jersey verde), y a mi izquierda el profesor Hasegawa (con camisa blanca). En realidad yo contacté con el profesor Hasegawa, pero éste me redirigió a Kurazume cuando llegué a Japón.

El profesor Hasegawa parece una persona muy agradable. Durante mi primera semana organizó una comida en su casa y me invitó a ir. Aquí una foto del evento. ¿Podéis encontrar las sillas?

Mi "cuidadora" en el laboratorio es Yumi, una profesora ayudante que me ayuda mucho. Habla bastante bien inglés y tiene mucho sentido del humor. Aquí la tenemos



Al finalizar el curso, en Japón es en Marzo, hay una fiesta en la universidad para los estudiantes que acaban. En nuestro laboratorio también se organiza una pequeña fiesta de despedida. A continuación una foto de los estudiantes que abandonan

En respuesta, ellos también dejan un recuerdo para el laboratorio

Para la ceremonia de graduación las chicas llevan un kimono. Así es que me hice unas fotos con algunas





El campus donde trabajo esta a tomar por cu... de la ciudad. Necesito una hora para llegar. Tengo que coger el metro y luego un autobús. Hay un poco de cachondeo con la gente porque dicen que el campus es muy rural. Estoy totalmente de acuerdo.

Para que os hagáis una idea de donde está, aquí os dejo una foto durante el viaje en autobús. El campus es ese edificio naranja que aparece tras la montañas sin nada alrededor

Today we are going to meet the people I work with at Kyushu University. In the first picture we can see the two professors of the lab




At my right Professor Kurazume (green pullover), and at my left Professor Hasegawa (white shirt). I actually contacted Professor Hasegawa to come here, but he redirected me to Professor Kurazume.

Professor Hasegawa seems to be a very nice person. He organized a lunch at his home during my first week and invited me to join. Here we can see a picture during the lunch. Can you find the chairs?



Professor Hasegawa had no problem appearing in the picture with the apron :-)

My "helper" in the Lab is Yumi, an assistant professor who helps me a lot. She speaks English quite well and has a good sense of humour. Here it is



At the end of the course, which is March in Japan, there is a graduation party at the University for the students finishing their studies. In our lab there was also a small party to say goodbye to the graduate students. Here the leaving ones at the Lab



They received presents from the other members as farewell



In response, the graduate students also leave some present for the lab

For the ceremony the girls wear a Kimono. I took the opportunity to have some pictures with them





The campus where I work is quite far from the city. It takes me almost 1 hour to get there. I have to take the subway, and then a bus. Everyone makes fun saying that the campus is in the very countryside of the city. I totally agree.
